Tom Condone

Tom Condone is currently the Director of Coaching and Player Development for Tennessee Soccer. Prior to being employed by Tennessee Soccer, Tom held the position of Head Coach for Men and Women’s Soccer at Tennessee Wesleyan College (2000-2002, 2003-2005), where he was the 2001 Region XII Coach of the Year.

Condone holds an U.S.S.F. ‘A’ License, U.S.S.F. ‘National Youth’ License, N.S.C.A.A. ‘Advanced National Diploma’, and a N.S.C.A.A. ‘National Youth’ Diploma. He is an instructor for Tennessee Soccer for the ‘D’, ‘E’ and ‘Youth Module’ courses, as well serving on National Staff as a U.S.S.F. ‘C’ license instructor.

Tom played collegiate soccer at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, before transferring to Monmouth University and finishing with a Bachelors Degree in History/Political Science in 1995.

He has held head coaching stints at Spring Hill College (1998-2000), and Rutgers University-Newark (2003), obtaining a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts at Spring Hill in 2000. Additionally, he has been the conference chairperson for the Appalachian Athletic Conference, Gulf Coast Athletic Conference, and served as the Tournament Chairperson for the East Coast Athletic Conference.

Tom’s responsibilities will include Coaching Education, Player Development, from the recreational level to the highest competitive level of play, as well as overseeing the Olympic Development Program of Tennessee Soccer.

Tom and his wife Rachal reside in Athens, Tennessee, and have two girls, Jourdan (12) and Bailey (9), and two sons Liam (8) and Landon (2).
