Cori Hagan

At the early age of 5, I found my first little elf rec soccer team. Continuing with the soccer experience, I entered Girls' Preparatory School as a 7th grader playing soccer on their A Middle School team and as an 8th grader played on the Varsity squad. While playing my 8-12 grade years, I was heavily involved in indoor and outdoor Club throughout high school.

At the age of 12, I played on the Signal Mountain Flash winning our first of 5 State Championship titles. In 1993 joined with the Hamilton Futbol Club playing Division 1 club. By this, I was able to gain a lot of technical and tactical training from some of the best coaches in the State of Tennessee.

Traveling to Regionals in various States such as Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina allowed me to play soccer against some of the best competition around. As a captain and Defensive leader, I was recruited to play at Roanoke College where I was a Starting Freshman, Sophomore and a Junior captain, gaining ODAC All-Conference titles all three years. Unfortunately, my senior year brought terrible news. After surgery on my feet, my playing career ended abruptly.

In 2003 I was married to Patrick Hagan, and a year later was expecting our first child. Born in 2004, Kit Hagan, was able to catch my first season coaching the Junior Varsity at GPS. During the Spring of 2005, I coached the Redoubt U14 Division II girls team and followed them another year to u15's.

2006 brought our family another little one, Charlie Hagan (born in December). Coaching in the Middle school program at GPS pregnant was some treat for the soccer community.

I am currently coaching the u12 girls under Jimmy Weekly and still continue to coach in the Middle school program at Girls' Preparatory School. While raising kids and continuing to coach, she holds her USSF “E” license.
